The 2022/23 Manchester City Home Jersey celebrates one of the club's greatest-ever players: Colin Bell. Nicknamed "The King of the Kippax" , a stand at the early Maine Road stadium, Bell spent 1966-1979 in sky blue. The trio of Bell, Mike Summerbee and Francis Lee led City to domestic domination, the first glorious era for the club. City won the old First Division, the FA Cup, the Charity Shield , the League Cup, all for the first time, and lifted the European Cup Winners' Cup.
Bell is a member of the Hall of Fame for both Manchester City and England. He passed in 2021.
